Since every kitchen is very different, it is difficult to give even a ballpark price on a complete
remodel. However, it has been our experience that our kitchens are much more affordable
than most. The primary reason is that we use cabinets supplied by IKEA® (www.ikea.com).
The IKEA® cabinets are very high quality and very affordable. They are backed by a
25-year warranty. For example, when we priced out our own kitchen on Cape Cod with
mid-range Kraftmaid cabinets, the cost was over $24,000. The same cabinets from IKEA®
with all inserts, pull-outs and glass doors came in under $8,000. In our case, this $16,000
went into high-end appliances like a DSC range and a Sub-Zero refrigerator along with
solid-surface countertops.
If we are just assembling and installing cabinets, a more accurate estimate can be given.
However, all projects require a review of the scope and design prior to quoting.
